This course is designed for those looking to gain essential knowledge about car ownership and maintenance, transforming what can often feel intimidating and overwhelming into an accessible and informative experience. You'll learn the basics of how cars work, including their anatomy and key systems, enabling you to identify common issues and perform simple inspections confidently. The class offers a hands-on approach, starting in the classroom and then moving to practical exploration on a vehicle lift.

Instructor Lam will guide participants, so whether you have mechanical skills or are new to car maintenance, this course is for you. Please wear clothes that can get dirty and sturdy shoes, and remember to bring your car's owner's manual. Note that the auto bay is not heated, so dress warmly.
