Enjoy a weekly reading of children's books that highlight New England history and culture, and participate in a related activity afterwards. Join us on July 1 for Now & Ben: The Modern Inventions of Benjamin Franklin by Gene Barretta. Benjamin Franklin was a Founding Father and the first Postmaster General of the United States, but he still found time to invent many useful things that we still use today! After the story, create your own postcard to send to Ben and tell him about your favorite inventions.
Stories at the Old Schoolhouse is recommended for children ages 4 to 10. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
