Major Gregory Sanborn Wildlife Management Area, formerly known as the Brownfield Bog, is a major birding hotspot in Maine due to the diversity of birds that breed there. Targets include Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Yellow-throated Vireos, and Yellow-billed Cuckoos, and also the variety of warblers and waterbirds, including displaying Wilson’s Snipe, making this spot always worth a visit.
