TEMPOart Artists at Play featuring Verónica A. Pèrez: Braided & Beaded Bracelets and Memory-Making

This summer, CMTM is proud to present the Artist at Play series hosted by TEMPOart Verónica A. Pèrez (she/they) is an artist exploring erasure, identity, and interdependency through personal work and community-driven aiding circles workshops. Verónica will work with guests in this special workshop to share the process of making a acelet, associating each knot or bead with a memory. Participants can choose beads to represent things that are important to them that they want to remember and reflect on. It can also be a memory acelet—using beads to represent specific memories you have. TEMPOart commissions temporary public artwork that sparks dialogue, builds community, and inspires our collective imagination.
