2026 Concerts by the Sea - Heartbreak Over Petty

We are excited to have Heartbreak Over Petty (HOP) play at this week’s free Concerts by the Sea summer series.
HOP formed in 2017 when lifelong friends and seasoned bandmates came together to honor the music of Tom Petty following his passing. What began as a one-night tribute quickly sold out, followed by another show for fans who couldn’t get in — and the momentum never stopped. Fast-forward to today, and Heartbreak Over Petty is in constant demand, performing for ever-larger crowds and venues while bringing generations of fans together to sing along to the soundtrack of their lives.
HOP shows deliver all the Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers classics audiences know and love, performed with the sound, energy, and spirit that made the originals timeless. To keep the party going, we seamlessly weave in select classic rock favorites, creating a set that keeps crowds on their feet, dancing, and fully engaged from the first song to the last.

Set against a summer sky at the beautiful Harbor View Park, visitors can enjoy a variety of musical selections at the Concerts by the Sea Summer Concert Series.
The series, sponsored by Suntex Marinas, is held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. each Saturday from July 11 to September 5 at Harbor View Park, located off Harbor Boulevard just south of Marine Emporium Landing (3600 Harbor Blvd. Oxnard, CA 93035).
