Due to air quality conditions.Visit the Bailly Homestead, where the cabins will be open for viewing, and learn about the area’s early settlers. The main house will be closed due to ongoing restoration efforts.
Limited parking is available near the homestead. Park alternatively at the Little Calumet River Trail Lot (Mnoke Prairie) at 401 Howe Road, Porter, IN 46304. You can walk a short distance to the homestead from there.
