The Gun Club, also known as Point Pleasant Gun Club, was established on September 21, 1959, in West Virginia, with a mission centered around marksmanship and camaraderie. Founding members, including notable figures like Pete Boggs and Chuck Fisher, initially operated out of a shooting range on Harry Rhodes' farm. Funded by member contributions, the club relocated to 5289 Jericho Road in 1966, where new facilities and amenities flourished, including multiple trap houses and rifle ranges. Over the decades, the club faced challenges and transformations, embracing innovative partnerships and community outreach, fostering a vibrant environment for shooting sports.
