Branching Out: Tree ID

What if I told you trees have hearts? Well, they have heartwood, which is kind of like a tree heart! Join us for an oaksome morning of tree ID at Swatara State Park! We will go over the different parts of a tree, how to ID 5-7 different PA Native Trees, and learn about the important role trees play in our ecosystems! This is a child-friendly, hands-on program designed to get you and your family out in nature with your hands dirty! It's encouraged to bring sunscreen, bug spray, water, and comfortable shoes. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
