Carver Public Library

The Carver Public Library, established in 1895, is a vital community resource offering a wide array of services and materials. Housed in a modern, two-story building of approximately 25,000 square feet, it provides ample space for book stacks, public and study rooms, and dedicated children's and young adult areas. The library boasts a collection of nearly 80,000 items, including books, periodicals, DVDs, and electronic resources. Its core mission is to supply users with popular materials, reference assistance, access to online catalogs and databases, and engaging adult and children's programming. The library also offers technological resources, community meeting spaces, and access to local historical and genealogical information, while supporting the school curriculum. As a member of the SAILS library network, it provides computerized library functions and internet access. The library is open 48 hours per week, with specific hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Volunteers are welcomed to supplement library services, contributing to special events, projects, and regular activities under staff supervision. The library is committed to providing an enriching, inclusive, and safe experience for all patrons.
