Zentangle Workshop

Zentangle is an easy-to-learn and relaxing way to create beautiful
drawings. Originally developed by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, Zentangle is more than just an art form—it is a meditative practice that has been found to promote mindfulness, creativity, and personal well-being.
The joy of Zentangle lies in its simplicity and accessibility; anyone can begin without any prior artistic experience, using simple tools such as paper, pencil, and pen. Zentangle uses the phrase “No Mistakes” allowing you as the artist to focus on the positive energy behind creating the art, not the finished product. The instructor is a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) with over 13 years of zentangle experience, trained by the founders Maria
and Rick.

- 01 & 05 black Sakura Micron ink pens
- Graphite Pencil
- Pencil Sharpener
- Tortillon
- (4) White Zentangle paper tiles
- Canvas Pouch for storage

- 01 & 05 black ink pens of your choice (felt tip like a Sakura Micron works well)
- White paper to draw on (this can be a sketchbook or loose-leaf drawing paper - paper (weight of 60lbs or more - paper with a bit of texture)
- Pencil (any graphite pencil will work)
- Pencil Sharpener
- Shading tool such as a tortillon or a blending stump (a tool to shade pencil with)
