Rooted Book Study and Experience
Do you have a deep desire to feel at one with the Earth? Unity has a new class that will help you to learn how to become rooted in mother nature.
Join Carl Janson as we spiritually and physically learn how we can best live upon our beloved earth! Together we will read and discuss the book “Rooted – Life at the Crossroads of Science, Nature and Spirit”– “by Lyanda Lynn Haupt.
By reading the book and more importantly creating a personal and spiritual connection with the material, our goal is to transform our sense of belonging within the natural world.
As Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’, says in her book review, “With her deep intuition and expansive attention as our guides, Lynda Haupt’s gorgeous words create a path to the place where science and spirit meet. It’s a barefoot path that wanders through solitudes and into community with frogs, moose, orcas and our own wildness.”
When: Tuesdays 7:00 to 8:30 June 2 to June 23, 2026
Where: Unity’s Sanctuary. There will be several on-site outdoor experiences and an optional outdoor adventure.
