Isle La Motte Historical Society

The Isle La Motte Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the unique history and culture of Isle La Motte, Vermont. It operates a museum complex featuring a circa 1843 Stone Schoolhouse, an early 1890 Duba Blacksmith Shop, and a log cabin. The society actively collects stories, photos, and artifacts related to the island's quarry life, schooling, and vacationing history, and seeks to educate the public through its exhibits and collections.
