Details:
The Rule of St. Benedict calls us to “diligently cultivating silence at all times.”
How can we practice stillness in our often-chaotic world and follow the psalmist's call to be still and know God’s loving presence? In this retreat we will learn and deepen practices through which we might enter into stillness in our daily lives like contemplative prayer, lectio divina, and walking the labyrinth. Co-sponsored by Contemplate Lincoln.
Steven Blum, PhD, is a retired clinical psychologist, retreat leader and Benedictine Oblate.
Adam Luedkte, PhD, is the director and pastor of Contemplate Lincoln. In 2021 he co-founded Contemplative Creators Network, a collective of leaders in the Christian Contemplative Tradition.
