ACSA Region 3 serves educational leaders in Sacramento and Yolo counties, representing over 260,000 K-12 students across 21 districts, including Elk Grove. As part of the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), its mission is to support California's educational leaders, ensure students have the skills to excel, and champion public education. The region focuses on school leadership, education policy, and advocacy for increased program flexibility and funding. It also plays a role in issues related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, accountability, and closing the achievement gap.
