Health Care Navigator

Do you need help applying for health insurance? An experienced Health Insurance Navigator from LawNY can help you explore your options and enroll in coverage through the New York State of Health Marketplace (NYSOH). Appointments are offered in one-hour increments and registration is required. Appointments will be in-person at the library. Please call Gates Public Library at 585-247-6446 to make an appointment.

Please have the following on hand during your appointment:

Photo ID
Birth dates and social security numbers of all family members
Proof of income (paystubs from the last four weeks that you’ve worked, or if self-employed, your tax return from the previous year.
Immigration or naturalization papers (if applicable)

Individuals aged 65 or older, and individuals who receive Medicare are generally not eligible for insurance on the Marketplace.
