Summer Faculty Recital: The Music of Brian Wilson, with Bob Sneider, guitar, and Paul Hofmann, piano

Details:

In his early 20s, Brian Wilson (1942-2025) became a household name as the leader of America’s most popular singing group, The Beach Boys. In short order, Wilson’s innovative composing, arranging and producing revolutionized popular music with 1966’s landmark album “Pet Sounds” and, though unreleased in complete form for many decades, the astonishing “SMiLE” album. The love and respect Brian received from the musical community at large (as well as from millions of Beach Boys fans) was as noteworthy as his brilliant music.
