This 16-member ensemble brings the timeless sounds of Big Band Swing and Jazz to life with a repertoire that spans beloved standards, audience favorites, and original jazz compositions. Formed in 2019 and made up of talented musicians from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, the Friendly Neighborhood Big Band has quickly become a favorite at community celebrations, concerts, and special events throughout the Central Coast.
With a library of more than 2,000 songs and a passion for keeping the tradition of live jazz alive, the band delivers a fun, energetic performance that's perfect for dancing, listening, and enjoying a summer afternoon in the park.
