All aboard for the Inaugural Railway Races presented by Aetna!
Join us Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Hendersonville, NC for the first-ever Railway 5K & One Mile Run/Walk on the beautiful Ecusta Trail.
This exciting new event created and produced by iDaph Events, celebrates history, movement, and community along the historic railroad corridor now being transformed into one of Western North Carolina’s newest greenways. Whether you run, walk, bring the family, push a stroller, or cheer from the sidelines, this event is designed to be welcoming and fun for all ages and abilities.
Race options include:
• 5K Run/Walk
• One Mile Run/Walk

• FREE Bella Canvas shirt if registered by August 16th
• Commemorative finisher medal for all participants
• Chip-timed 5K with awards

We’re also proud to partner with local non-profit - BikeWalkHVL for this inaugural event. Participants will have the opportunity to make an optional donation during registration to help support BikeWalkHVL’s work creating safer, healthier, and more connected communities through active transportation, advocacy, and greenway access in Henderson County.
