Join The Floathouse crew for a gentle, guided paddle upstream, timed to a higher tide that allows access beyond the downtown channel and into the most tranquil sections of our beloved tidal slough. With extra water beneath us, we’re able to glide into calm, lush stretches of the river that are normally out of reach.
This unhurried paddle highlights the natural beauty of the Petaluma River’s brackish, tidal waterway. Keep an eye out for great egrets, blue herons, snowy egrets, turtles basking along the banks, and abundant plant life. The calm water and peaceful surroundings create a deeply grounding experience—many guests say they feel their stress melt away within minutes.
