Creative Writing Workshop: Unearth Your Middletown Story

Everyone has a story to tell. Join us for Creative Writing Workshop: Unearth Your Middletown Story, a special memoir writing program presented in conjunction with the MTPL Community History Project Grant and this years Summer Reading theme, Unearth a Story. In this welcoming workshop, participants will reflect on their personal connections to Middletown, NJ and craft a short memoir-style piece inspired by their experiences, memories, neighborhoods, traditions, or local landmarks. Whether you grew up here, recently moved to town, or have a family story rooted in the community, your voice is part of Middletowns history. Writers of all experience levels are encouraged to attend. Through guided prompts, discussion, and supportive feedback, patrons will create a brief written piece to share as part of a growing community storytelling project celebrating the people and memories that shape Middletown. Come unearth your storyand help preserve the stories of our community for future generations.
