Upper Arkansas Area Council of Govs

The Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments (UAACOG) is a voluntary coalition of county and municipal governments serving Colorado's Planning and Management Region 13, which includes Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, and Lake Counties. Its mission is to strengthen communities by providing services, support, and resources to improve lives. UAACOG offers a wide range of programs for individuals, families, businesses, and local governments, focusing on community development, support, and well-being. Key initiatives include senior health and independence programs, business growth support through financing and tax incentives, child and family wellness services (like WIC and Head Start), housing assistance, and rural transportation projects.
