Community Stewardship Days: Citizen Science & iNaturalist

Each gathering focuses on practical ways to care for the environment- composting, supporting pollinators, observing wildlife, or improving soil- while creating something meaningful together. The goal is to make stewardship approachable, give people something they can take home and apply in their own lives, and build a consistent rhythm of community involvement around caring for the land. Become a Member!June 14: Vermicomposting Workshop (Worm Composting) - Learn how to turn food scraps into living soil and build your own simple worm compost system to take home!July 5: Citizen Science Workshop + iNaturalist - Help document the plants, animals, and insects of Observer Ranch while contributing to real scientific data. July 12: Pollinator Habitat Workshop - Learn about native pollinators and help create or expand a pollinator-friendly habitat on-site. August 16: Seed Saving + Native Seed Bomb Workshop - Learn how to collect and use native, drought-resistant seeds, then make seed bombs to take home or scatter on the land.
