Details:
Sept. 9: A day dedicated to honoring Vietnam Veterans and all veterans of American conflicts. There will be special programs to recognize their service.
Sept. 10: This day features a special service honoring Gold Star Families, including a wreath presentation. Women of service will also be recognized with receptions and presentations.
Sept. 11: A commemoration of 9/11 will take place, with participation from the American Legion, VFW, EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement, and all first responders. The day includes a wreath-laying at the 9/11 wall plaque and a flag retirement service.
Sept. 12: The event will honor and remember POWs and MIAs with presentations and a table "Set for One" service. Activities include a 5k warrior run, family games and recreation, and a music concert featuring "Gone With The West," a Nashville recording group that has appeared at the Grand Ole Opry.
Sept. 13: The tribute will conclude with a community church service held at The Wall, followed by the closing ceremony and the dismantling of the wall.
Food and Patriotic item vendors will be available as well as all local restaurants.
