Participants will learn to transform fabric scraps into stunning textured artwork, using techniques like design transfer to a foam board, cutting precision grooves, and tucking fabric into slits—creating beautiful fruit-themed designs.

This hands-on, collaborative class emphasizes creativity and connection with friends and neighbors, as you explore the history and techniques of Kinusaiga, choose fabrics for texture and color, and create high-end wall art from remnants and scraps. Participants should bring their favorite cotton or non-stretchy fabric remnants, though materials will be provided, including pre-cut foam board and tucking tools. An optional framing add-on is available for those looking to take home a ready-to-hang masterpiece.
