Central Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of the Deer Park community since August 1959, when the Reverend Johnny Hunt founded it with just seven members. Under the dedicated leadership of Pastor Charles Dunn, who served over 40 years, the church flourished both spiritually and physically. After Pastor Tim Dunn took over in 2006, he oversaw significant renovations, creating the beautiful campus we cherish today. Currently led by Pastors Douglas Harris and Doug Kaler, the church embraces a revitalization journey, grounded in a rich legacy of faith, resilience, and a vision for a bright future.
