Nights at the Campground

Join us for the "Nights at the Campground" series at Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park, running every Saturday night from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend in 2026. Starting at 8 p.m. and lasting up to two hours, park staff will present a variety of engaging interpretive programs, with different topics each week. These events are free for registered campers and day-use visitors, but please note that activities may be canceled or changed due to inclement weather. Don't miss out on these enriching experiences on the following dates: May 23 and 30; June 6, 13, 20, and 27; July 4, 11, 18, and 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29; and September 5.
