**Combined Event Description: Archaeology and Cooking Camps for Kids**
Join us for an exciting summer of learning and exploration with two engaging camps for students entering grades 6th-8th: The Castle’s Archaeology Camp and The Changed Plate's Jr. Chef Cooking Camp.
**Archaeology Camp**:
From July 13-16, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, students will have the unique opportunity to participate in a real archaeological dig at one of Ohio's oldest pottery manufacturing sites. Led by professional archaeologist Wes Clarke, campers will learn how to sort and sift for artifacts while examining and identifying their findings. Registration is $50 per individual, and space is limited, with a deadline of June 26 for pre-registration. Scholarships are available, and cancellations must be made two weeks prior for a full refund.
**Jr. Chef Cooking Camp**:
Simultaneously, young chefs can join the Jr. Chef Cooking Camp at The Changed Plate, focusing on cozy culinary classics from around the world. This camp is also open to students and features a fun and interactive learning environment where budding cooks can expand their skills and taste bud experiences.
For more details and to register for either camp, please visit their respective websites. Don’t miss out on these enriching summer experiences!
