Details:
Join Palmetto Historical Park to learn what life was like in the 1800s! Inside their Traveling Trunk, youll discover a variety of hands-on items and activities that help children explore what life was like for Florida pioneers. When early settlers first arrived in this area, daily life revolved largely around one thing--chores. During this program, participants will step back in time to experience pioneer life by trying some of the tasks children and families once did every day, such as chopping firewood (with a plastic axe and log) , making butter, washing laundry, and more. Learn more here: Palmetto Historical Parks Traveling Trunk Registration is not required, but encouraged for reminders and follow-up survey.
