Master Sergeant Paul Anderson dedicated his life to service, leadership, and helping others. During his distinguished 26-year career in the United States Air Force, he served as a Quality Control Inspector, earning numerous awards for meritorious service as well as a letter of appreciation from President George Bush. Later in his military career, he served as a Squadron Project Manager and Budget Director. Following his retirement from the Air Force, Paul continued to serve his community as an educator and mentor with the Palm Beach County School Board After School Programs for 12 years, retiring in 2020. Alongside his wife, Bonnie Bostic-Anderson, he co-founded B-Unique Fashion Jewelry, Accessories & Specialty Items, operating a kiosk at the Boynton Mall Marketplace from 2017 to 2022. Together, they were active members of the Delray Beach Coalition, The Peach Umbrella, the Boynton CRA vendor network, and numerous community organizations. In 2012, Paul and Bonnie began their Quarter Auction journey with Jewels Bryant, Madeline Midkiff and Kerry Barnes became Vendors of Quarters for Kindness, supporting many charitable causes and events.
On March 5, 2026, Paul was hospitalized and diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had spread to portions of his liver and his L5 vertebra. His condition has also resulted in multiple blood clots in his lungs and legs, which are currently being managed with medication. Paul is undergoing chemotherapy treatments every other Tuesday morning at the VA Medical Center and has found strength through the support of family, friends, caregivers, and support groups. He and Bonnie are especially grateful for the love, encouragement, and ongoing support from the vendor community of Quarters for Kindness and the Women’s Auxiliary of Post 268 during this difficult journey. Through it all, Paul continues to face his illness with the same courage, determination, devotion to family, and unwavering faith in God that defined his military career and his life of service.
