Details:
Join us for an engaging exploration of nature with our combined events: "Plant Needs: Wonderful Water" and "Plant Anatomy for Everyday Gardeners." This program is designed for children ages 2-5, encouraging them to discover the importance of water through play and hands-on STEM activities as they learn how it supports both plants and people. Through captivating stories and guided tours of the Garden, young explorers will cultivate a lifelong appreciation for nature.
Simultaneously, adults can participate in our beginner-friendly "Plant Anatomy" class, where you'll learn to identify common plant parts and terms, empowering you to confidently “read” plants. Following a brief introduction, you will embark on a guided walk through the Garden to observe real plants, enhancing your understanding and connection to the natural world.
All classes are held outdoors, weather permitting, and adults must accompany children. This is the perfect opportunity to nurture curiosity in young minds while adults deepen their gardening knowledge. Reserve your spot today, as space is limited!
