Redneck Fishing Tournament

Join Wander Woman as we head to Browning Illinois for this unique fishing experience!
We will be joining in on 2026 Redneck Fishing Tournament focused on collecting the invasive Asian Carp species. These invasive carp species are causing issues in the Mississippi river and surrounding waters. Invasive carp are fast-growing and prolific feeders that out-compete native fish and leave a trail of environmental destruction in their wake.
Fee includes two nights lodging, tournament fee, helmets, nets, boat, and boat captain. The AirBNB has three bedrooms with 4 beds and two pull out couches. Prepare to share beds. If you aren't into that, please consider bringing an air mattress or cot.
This will be a wild and messy event. For after the event on Friday and Saturday, you will want to have in your car a towel, shower supplies, shower shoes, clothes to change into. We will stick around after the tournament to participate in evening festivities. We will do one heat on Friday and two heats on Saturday. Friday heat is optional if ladies want to go earlier. Itinerary of the tournament and address for the Air BNB will be provided closer to the event.
**This event is a Wander Woman team event. If we place in the tournament, the prize money will be donated back to the organization. There will be no individual payouts to participants. This will allow Wander Woman to replace any broken nets, gear, and continue our mission to provide opportunities like this event to women.
