Advent Health Ottawa’s Early Family Network is a free welcoming community for expecting parents and families of young children to find support, evidence based education and share the joys and challenges of parenting.
We are delighted to welcome Emily Winters of
Balanced Beginnings Lactation to share about starting solid foods with your baby and baby-led weaning. Join us to learn when and how to safely introduce solid foods to your baby. We will also go over choking prevention, recognizing choking versus gagging and will be joined by Franklin County EMS to go over infant CPR basics to
help you feel confident and prepared. After the
presentation there will be a time for questions,
discussions and to make friends.
This event is free and open to all! Walk-ins are welcomed and registration is NOT required!
