Join us for a free Argentine tango practica at the Hillside Club in Berkeley, hosted by Lindsey Newbold and Alec Oyung, with DJ Prashant spinning the music. This queer-friendly event welcomes everyone to lead and follow, and beginners are encouraged to participate in the practice. Please note that for the protection of the wooden floor, only flat dance shoes or shoes with low, thick heels are allowed—socks and sneakers are also acceptable. Bring your own beer or wine (no hard alcohol) and water bottles, as all ages are welcome. A tip jar will be available to support our DJ. Remember to engage with fellow dancers through eye contact and the cabeceo for a fun and inclusive experience. Come practice and enjoy the dance!
