Details:
Join us for an engaging evening at our Meet and Greet Event with New Director Nathan Jochum, where you can chat with Nathan and learn about his vision for The Library. Nathan will provide remarks at 6:00 PM. Following this, immerse yourself in the captivating world of Selene Castrovilla's latest historical fiction, "Freedom’s Cost". This gripping narrative follows Benjamin Tallmadge, the pivotal figure behind the Culper Spy Ring during the American Revolution, and explores the profound sacrifices made for freedom through his eyes. The evening will also feature a unique conversation with historic interpreters portraying the first two First Ladies, Martha Washington and Abigail Adams, brought to life by Trena DeFranco and Twyla Edwards. This program is part of UPL's America250! series, co-hosted by the Oneida Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience history, literature, and insightful dialogue all in one night!
