August Business After Hours at Boilermaker Road Race Office

n 1978, the Boilermaker began as a 15K road race with 876 runners, created to celebrate the founding sponsor, Utica Boiler's 50th anniversary. Today, it has grown into a week-long celebration that welcomes more than 20,000 runners, spectators, and volunteers from around the world to the Greater Utica region.
Join us less than a month after the 49th running of the Boilermaker for an inside look at one of the community's most iconic events as preparations ramp up for the race's historic 50th anniversary in 2027. Guests will learn more about the organization, the exciting plans ahead, and opportunities to get involved through sponsorship, volunteerism, and community partnerships as we build toward this milestone year.
