Details:
Join us for FREE JAZZ SUNDAY in the Sunset Lounge on Sunday, July 5th with Seattle musician, composer, and cultural advocate Benjamin Hunter.
An award-winning multi-instrumentalist and Artistic Director of Northwest Folklife, Hunter brings together music, storytelling, and conversation to explore the connections between history, culture, and community.
Drawing from his experiences as a performer, educator, and founder of organizations including The Rhapsody Project and Black & Tan Hall, Hunter offers a thoughtful and engaging afternoon inspired by folk traditions and the many ways music helps us understand one another. Through stories and live music, he invites audiences to consider how the past continues to shape the present. Free and open to all.
This event also offers a preview of Hunter's full length performance coming to the Donna M. Morris Theater this fall. It's a chance to experience the style, message, and artistry that have made him one of the Pacific Northwest's most compelling voices.
General Admission seating is first come, first-served and not guaranteed throughout the event. Private premium tables are available by RSVP and $40 donation.
