Details:
The Plucking Posse is back for our second year of beautification on the streets of the Waterfront District.
We meet every Tuesday at 9 AM at the Fountain (UNLESS the weather sucks-then we cancel).
If you show up late we won't be at the fountain, we'll be somewhere on the street in the Waterfront District. Find us!
Bring your own gloves and common sense. We have tools but sometimes we run out. We encourage folks to bring their own tools.
What do we do? We are a group of volunteers who want the streets in the Waterfront District to look better. Our biggest target is weeds. We attack them in planter beds, under tree well grates, in sidewalk cracks and against street curbs. We also consider moss, algae-stained concrete and the unattended piles of poop in the middle of the sidewalk to be enemies of our group, and treat them accordingly. No quarter is given.
Blight beware, we are coming for you. If you've read this far, consider enlisting! We have a good time and we are not a cult.
