Details:
Join us for a meaningful Juneteenth celebration at two significant locations: the Josiah Henson Museum and Park, dedicated to Reverend Josiah Henson, who played a crucial role in the Underground Railroad, and the Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park, where special museum hours will be held.
At the Josiah Henson Museum, commemorate the day by learning about Henson's legacy of freeing 118 formerly enslaved individuals. Admission is $6 for children and seniors, and $7 for adults, with tickets available onsite.
At Woodlawn Manor, experience special events on June 19 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is also $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and children, with free entry for children 5 and under. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor the end of enslavement in the United States and explore these historic sites.
