Details:
On August 4, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host two key events: the "From Farms to the Future: Conservation Careers Showcase" in El Paso, where conservation interns will present their end-of-year projects through poster sessions, educational drone demonstrations, and tours of rainwater gardens, alongside the Texas Well Owner Network's private water well screenings for Caldwell and Hays counties. The well screenings, costing $15 per sample, will test for contaminants like E. coli and arsenic, and samples can be submitted at designated locations during morning hours. A follow-up educational program on water well topics will be held on August 5 in Luling. Online registration is required for the showcase.
