The Appleton Museum of Art, affiliated with the College of Central Florida, aims to bring art and people together to inspire, challenge, and engage current and future generations through its diverse collections, exhibitions, programs, and educational opportunities. Established in 1987, the museum houses a permanent collection of over 24,000 objects, including European, American, Asian, African, Contemporary, and pre-Columbian art, as well as a dedicated collection of Florida artists and equine art. It also features temporary exhibitions, studio art classes, and special events, serving as a cultural center for Central Florida and beyond. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
