The Ferndale Cat Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)(3) located in Ferndale, Michigan. We are a donor and volunteer driven organization that includes our MDARD licensed shelter - Catfé Lounge at 686 Livernois. The Ferndale Cat Shelter provides for medical care, foster homes and adoption for homeless cats. We also assist the metropolitan Detroit community with trap-neuter-release to improve the lives of our feral cat population. We do NOT provide medical care for cats at our shelter. If you find a cat who needs medical attention, please take it to the nearest veterinary hospital.
