Art + Poetry Newbury Park Library Open Mic Poetry

Youre invited to write a poem inspired by artwork from the Artists of Leisure Village. (see photos of paintings below) Then, read your poem at the Newbury Park Library on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at 6 pm in the Community Room. As part of the librarys ongoing Open Mic Poetry series, you can meet the artists of Leisure Village at the Newbury Park Library poetry reading on June 10th. The artists will talk about their work and creative process. Next, well read our poems inspired by their art, followed by our usual open mic for poems on any topic. Admission is free.
