Details:
June is Rainbow Book Month, a nationwide celebration of the authors and writings that reflect the lives and experiences of those in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, pansexual, genderqueer, queer, intersex, agender, and asexual community.
Rainbow Books are located on the display stand in the YA section throughout the month of June. After you read one, tell us a bit about it by filling out a short review form, and we'll give you a prize. Participants can turn in their forms at the 2nd floor Service Desk to receive their prize.
This program is geared toward teens, but adults are also welcome to participate. Registration is not required. Be an ally to the community and check out some Rainbow Book Month literature! For more information about the celebration, visit: www.ala.org/news/rainbow-book-month
