Join the Wisconsin Historical Society, National History Day, and America’s Black Holocaust Museum for a morning focused on bringing historical research and project-based learning into your classroom! The Wisconsin Historical Society and the America's Black Historical Museum are partnering with National History Day to provide a free workshop on how to participate in National History Day contest. We will provide classroom curriculum and access to online materials which will help prepare your students to conduct research on historical topics utilizing local resources. If you choose to participate, your class will receive free admission to tour ABHM in October. You will also receive ongoing support from the Wisconsin Historical Society during the 2026-27 school year. In addition, at the workshop we will be hosting representatives from Milwaukee Public Library and area historical archives who are willing to help your students conduct primary research.
