Highlights of the day’s events include: 6:00 Golden Knight Army Ranger Parachute Jump + Mayor’s welcome 6:15 Presenting of Colors by Vietnam Veterans, GP Chapter TX1013 6:30 Signing of the National Anthem by Baylee Broom + Warbirds flyover 7:00 Mayor’s announcement of the students’ Essay and Art Project winners 7:20 Reading of Preamble from the Declaration of Independence 7:35 Singing of God Bless America by GPISD Student(s) 8:00-9:45 Live Music by Mood Swings 9:45 Drone Show with music Food trucks and vendors will also be on site.
