What to Bring:
• Two forms of identification (such as a driver's license and Social Security card or birth certificate)
• OR a valid U.S. Passport
• Your phone, tablet, or laptop if you'd like assistance applying on-site
Position Details
• Location: East Las Vegas, NV
• School days only – before and after school shifts available
• $17.50 per hour
• Work 1 hour before and 1 hour after school
About the Role
School Crossing Guards play a vital role in helping children travel safely to and from school. This position is ideal for retirees, stay-at-home parents, grandparents, community members, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work that makes a positive impact.
Responsibilities Include
• Safely assisting students and pedestrians across designated crossings
• Monitoring traffic conditions near schools
• Remaining alert and focused on student safety
• Communicating effectively with students, parents, school staff, and community members
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Candidates residing in or near East Las Vegas are preferred due to short response times to assigned locations
