Details:
Join us at Waikīkī-Kapahulu Library, as Allegro Keiki helps usher in the start of Summer Reading!
A live instrumental music experience for young children and their caregivers, the interactive program blends music, movement, and hands-on engagement to spark joy and curiosity in little listeners. Children’s Librarian, Ruth Pukahi will also be doing a reading of “Under the ʻŌhiʻa Tree” with musical accompaniment.
The performance will be by members of Oahu’s Kai String Quartet—professional musicians and parents who also perform with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and other local performing arts and educational organizations.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
