Governor Matt Pinnell Civic Season is a tradition that unites our oldest federal holiday, Independence Day, and our newest, Juneteenth. It’s goal? To mobilize a movement to understand our past and shape our future. In 2026, we will commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary and reflect on where we fit into that story. For this special edition of Better Conversations, Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell with join us to talk about 100 years of Route 66, known as the Mother Road, and what it means to civic life and the health of our democracy. The famous route, located blocks from the Memorial and Museum, connects us through place and time to a unique American identity while those traveling the route today stop here to reflect on an attack in 1995 that tested who we are. Participation is FREE and lunch is on us. Register to reserve your seat and a complimentary boxed lunch.
