Join Catherine Wolko, owner of The Humble Bee Honey Co., for "A Bee’s Life: The Honey Files," an engaging interactive program designed for children ages 6 and up. This presentation begins with an introduction from the Bee Lady, who shares her journey as a beekeeper while exploring the fascinating world of bees. The highlight is "The Honey Files," a 20-minute movie that teaches children about bee communication, flying, pollen collection, and the roles within a honeybee colony. Following the film, participants will review its content, learn about the waggle dance, and get an insight into honey bee anatomy. The event is highly interactive, with the Bee Lady appearing in full uniform and providing children's bee suits for them to try on. Attendees will also receive honey straws and coloring books at the end. Registration is required, and class sizes are limited.
