High Country Grill

Join us at Hotel Vermont’s Harbor Terrace for the High Country Grill! A gathering of Cajun flavors, cold beer, and live music inspired by the spirit of low country Louisiana. The a la carte menu will feature meats from 5th Quarter including Cajun style sausage, hot dogs, and muffuletta sandwiches from our outdoor grill. We’ll be serving up Lawson’s Finest Liquids new ‘Easy Sip’.
Live entertainment provided by Les Taiauts Trio (pronounced Lay Tie-Oh), who will bring Cajun music from Southwest Louisiana via Western Mass. Driving two steps, wailing waltzes and more for your dancing and listening pleasure! Bring your dancing shoes, there will also be Cajun two-step dance instruction prior to the performance!

Les Taiauts (Rafe Wolman, Chenda Cope, Missy Roser) is a Western Mass-based Cajun band. Though all hailing from the North, the members have been enamored of the music of South Louisiana for as long as they can remember. They have spent the last ten years unearthing weird old Cajun tunes together and honing in on a sound reminiscent of the classic dance-hall bands of the 50s and 60s. Expect driving two step and wailing waltzes that get even the most reluctant feet on the dance floor, songs of love and loss, stomping blues and slinky slow-drags….. even the occasional song in English.
